Getting Ready For Spring
OBSESSION ALERT!!! Clearly I get excited about the little things, those are what matter, right!? So when I came across this lace bell sleeved top at Bamboo Ballroom, I just about died. Seriously the photo's don't give this top the credit it deserves. Honestly, amazing! When I talk about the little things, this beauty has it all. The closer you look at it, you can really see all the detail it has. My most favorite part about the top (other than the colour), is the band that wraps around the bust area. Strapless bra approved!
I paired the lace top with a knitted grey pencil skirt. Not to take away from the top, and almost dress it down - just a bit! Completed the look with some strapy suede pumps, and kept the accessorizing to a minimal. The top did all the talking.
Up next, my next obsession is anything and everything velvet. A fashion trend that you will see appearing more and more. I've learned that it is something you either love or hate. Velvet fabric is great for the changing weather and transitioning into spring. Something that will still keep you warm and feeling ever so good and sexy.
The blond babe next to me is Rachel from Frankly Ray, she is wearing a two piece velvet pencil skirt and crop top. The floral print makes this outfit perfect for spring, and that slit in the skirt gives it that extra leg. I wanted to show you another way to pull of this combo, so I wore the same skirt with a grey bodysuit. I'm not a crop top kind-of girl, so when saw the bodysuit I figured it be a great way to wear it and show it off.
I'm not one to pull off the whole bodysuit thing, but this bodysuit called to me. It's soft fabric made it easy to wear, it wasn't pulling on me or felt tight in anyway. It was comfortable, and bonus, no panty lines! The bodysuit worked perfectly with the velvet skirt, and the combo together looked great. If I do say so myself. :P
