Getting into the "Trench" of Things
Hello Beautiful! Can you smell it? Can you see it? Spring is coming!! This time of the year is a little bitter sweet. Watching the snow melt, and seeing green grass under the melted ice. It's exciting and sad, I mean, I know I complain a lot about the snow. It all just means, that I have to put away all my big cozy sweaters :( Calgary's unpredictable weather doesn't help, but we are lucky enough to have the opportunity to watch spring bloom all around us. Wont be long now, until Sugo (my dog) and I are back going swimming and playing in the bow river.
One of this years newest trends is the sleeveless trench coat. You probably have seen it all over Instagram and Pinterest, it's a super cute look and I am really dign' it. In a previous post "Palm Spring" I paired the black Zara trench with dark blue skinny jeans and a sheer floral printed turtle neck top. This time I am pairing it with two different types of dresses; A more fitted pin strip t-shirt dress, and a flattering jersey knit dress that flows.
Because I am mostly in heels, I paired both dresses with heels, the strip dress with, ankle strap studded sandals. As for the jersey knit dress I paired it with my favorite pair of ankle booties. If you are more of the causal type of gal, then you can totally pair the two dresses with your favorite pair of sneakers or flats.
Oh! And keep your eyes out for part 3 of my '70's Look.'
